SALAAM Roller Derby
SALAAM Roller Derby is a borderless team that is a collective of players from SouthWest Asian and North African (SWANA) regions. As a diasporic community, Team Salaam is diverse by definition. In their own words: “Because of the white majority of roller derby, this solidarity is critical. It signals safety, an affective kinship, the knowledge that one can be welcomed and process the same daily struggles.”
The team was founded in 2023, and this will be their first time participating in the World Cup!

TEAM MÉXICO Roller Derby
Team Mexico is heading to their third Roller Derby World Cup! After competing in Texas (2014) and Manchester (2018), where they placed 15th, they’re back with experience and passion.

Help our athletes be there, representing Brazil with pride!
